Impressions on SPI:
Miss Lucy Ratnam's first impression of the school was that everything was simple here without elaborate fanfare or grandeur. One difference that struck her was that the school bell was not rung after every period but the teachers went to class on time. Another difference was that the teachers carried out work willingly and not out of obligation.

As the Senior Assistant of Student Affairs, at first she was not sure what the job entailed as it would not be easy being a lady administrator in a boys' school. However, she did not have to worry as there was much cooperation form all teachers and staff. She expresses her gratitude to all who provided assistance in making her duties lighter.

Her Aspirations:
To develop wholesome students in terms of character
To place greater emphasis on sports as she believes Paulians can do better in this area.
To find avenues for students who are not academically inclined
To uphold the school's ethos and Paulian spirit in all aspects

Miss Lucy Ratnam wants students to leave school with something they can hold on to, to remember and to be proud of.
