The Annual General Meeting was held in January 2014. The U15 and U18 rugby team started training in mid January 2014 as planned during the Annual General Meeting. Training sessions were held twice a week (Monday and Wednesday). In each training session, players were exposed to new rugby techniques and their rules and regulations.
Throughout the year 2014, the activities that were carried out were:
1. Weekly Practices (Monday and Wednesday)
The practices were led by Mr Firdaus. (Coach) They were carried out in the school field.
2. U18 MSSNS Tunku Naquiyuddin 7s Tournament
In April, the SPI U18s 7 a-side tournament was held at Tuanku Mohamad School Kuala Pilah. 28 schools took part in this competition. Our school was the runner up in the Shield Cup.
3. MSSNS Tournament
The SPI team took part in the tournament which was held in May at Tuanku Jaafar Science School and we were able to reach the quarter finals.
4.Introduction to Rugby Course
In the month of June, SMK KGV and the Negeri Sembilan Rugby Union conducted a short course for new rugby players. The aim of this course was to create awareness and to learn the rules and regulations.
