Other activities include a talk, conducted by Mrs.Seetha Devi and quizzes. A treasure hunt, ‘Thevaram’ competition, and bhajan singing competition were also held.
Ponggal was celebrated on a large scale by collaborating with the Tamil Language Society and non-members on the 24th of March. Ponggal cooking competition, pot-breaking competition, ‘Kabadi’ matches, a ‘Kolam’ drawing competition, ‘Thoranam’tying and a talent quest were held. The Principal was impressed with the large turn out and also the participation of students from other races.
The next main event was the camp which was held at the Swami Sivananda Memorial Centre in Bandar Seremban Selatan, Senawang. This camp was conducted by the Youth Wing Club of Divine Live Society from the 5th to 7th of April 2012. Many interesting activities such as ice-breaking activities, ponggal cooking, cultural dance and a bhajan competition were conducted. Mind-blowing talks were also given by the chief co-ordinator of the programme, Br. Prem Chaitanya from DLS, Batu Caves.
