The Annual General Meeting was held on the 17th of February 2017 in order
to elect this year’s committee members. Activities carried out during the
2016/2017 session are as follows.
1) COMMITTEE MEETING
A committee meeting was held on the 17th of February 2017. Committee
members discussed issues such as discipline and duties. The attendance
list for the librarians was a priority.
2) PSS WEEK (MINGGU PUSAT SUMBER SEKOLAH)
The PSS Week was held from the 3rd of July to the 7th of July 2017.
Activities carried out in conjunction with the PSS Week were:
a) Mini Book Exhibition organized by Sinaran Sdn. Bhd
b) Reading Corner Decorating Competition between classes
c) FROG VLE Competition among teachers and students
d) Treasure Hunt
3) PROBATION AND INTERVIEW FOR NEW LIBRARIANS
Starting from the aforementioned General Meeting, librarian application
forms were distributed to all students of the school. Any student would be
considered under the condition that they undergo a month long probationary
term. Lower 6 probates were inducted on 12th of June 2017, and were
required to go through the probationary term as well. Probates were taught
how to wrap books and process book via automation. Other duties such as
cleaning and dusting the library and learning how to close the library were
also taught to them after their shift was over.
