The annual general meeting was held on 13th October 2017 in order to elect this year’s committee members. Activities carried out during the 2017/2018 sessions are as follows.
1) COMMITTEE MEETING
A committee meeting was held on 19th May 2018. Committee members discussed issues such as discipline and duties. The attendance list for the librarians was a priority.
2) PSS WEEK
The PSS Week was held from the 11th July 2018 to 19th July 2018. Activities carried out in conjunction with the PSS Week were:
(a) Mini Book Exhibition organized by Sinaran Sdn. Bhd.
(b) Exhibition on the history of Negeri Sembilan by the state museum
(c) Briefing on the usage of the library during the Form 1 Orientation by the Head Teacher Advisor Puan Kamariah
3) PROBATION AND INTERVIEW FOR NEW LIBRARIANS
Starting from the aforementioned General Meeting, the librarians’ application forms were distributed to all the students of the school. Any student would be considered, on condition that they undergo a 3 month probationary term. Probates were taught how to wrap books and process book via automation. Other duties such as cleaning the library and learning how to close up the library were taught to them after their shift was over.
