The Annual Greeting Meeting was held in January. The U15 and U18 rugby team started training in mid January 2013 as planned during the Annual General Meeting. Training was held twice a week (Monday and Tuesday). In each training session, players were exposed to new rugby techniques and its rules and regulations.
Throughout the year 2013, the activities carried out were:
1.Weekly practices (Monday and Tuesday)
The practices led by Mr M.K Arumugam (coach) were
carried out at the school field.
2.Friendly Match
On 17th February 2013, SPI had a friendly match against SMK Teknik Tuanku Jaafar.
3.MSSNS Tournament
Our school took part in the MSSNS Rugby Competition which was held on 29th February - 1st March at SMK Tuanku Muhammad in Kuala Pilah. The SPI rugby team made it to the group stage.
4.U18 MSSNS Tuanku Naquiyuddin 7s Tournament
In the month of May, an U18 7-a-side tournament was held in SMK KGV. 24 schools were chosen to take part in this competition, our school was one of them. SPI managed to qualify till the semi finals.
